How my journey began

How it began

The story

Hi! this is Jaymen! A quick little backstory, Two years ago I was going through a heartbreak and I would constantly scroll through tiktok seeing messages about hating your ex, negative slideshows and videos about not caring anymore. And that message didn’t align with me. I understand that all feelings are welcome during the healing process including hate, anger etc, but I wanted to eventually move past those feelings. Even after a long time I still felt very tied to the other person until I met a coach who taught me that healing starts with ourselves.

The choice

The brand

I was faced with the fact that we are given a choice when thrown into heartbreak: We can either let the heartbreak leave us broken, or transmute it into something better. The breakup journal is made up of tools and concepts that helped me heal during my process. My intention is to provide a space for people to explore their own healing journeys and empower themselves to let go of past traumas. I hope that this journal will inspire and guide others as they navigate their own paths to healing.

The smiley face found in many places from the brand is based off an octopus stuffy that was a symbol of a connection I once shared with a significant person, now it continues to live on as a representation even after the connection has ended.
